Q.   Why are there tiny bubbles in the water after installing the new filter(s) and/or RO membrane.  It makes the water look "milky".

These tiny bubbles are caused by air that is in the microscopic pores of new filters and membranes.  As the water saturates the filters or membranes, the air in these pores is displaced by the water.  The air escapes as these tiny bubbles.  The bubbles will disappear once all of the air has been replaced by water.  If your faucet "burps" air, this too, will disappear.  The time required for this process varies with different filters, membranes, complete systems, water pressure, water properties and frequency of use.  However, in typical installations, it will diminish within two weeks.  This is a very typical process and is nothing to be concerned about.
